Our Goal
Help every athlete achieve his or her highest potential, enhancing his or her quality of life and happiness
Why Fitness
No Matter What a Parent Envisions for their Child - or an Individual Envisions for Themselves - Fitness can Help them get there
ABL Fitness Inc is a 501(C)(3)
AIM Therapy began with a vision to provide high-quality, individualized physical therapy and fitness services for individuals of all abilities. As our programs grew, so did our commitment to creating a truly inclusive community where every athlete – regardless of disability, communication style, or learning difference – could access fitness, connection, and empowerment
To better align with this mission and to remove financial barriers for the families we serve, we transitioned to ABL Fitness Inc, a nonprofit organization. ABL stands for Aiming Beyond Limits – because we believe fitness is for everybody. Becoming a nonprofit allows us to expand access, secure grant funding, and offer programs at more affordable rates, ensuring no athlete is left out due to cost.
Mission: At ABL Fitness, we believe that fitness is without limits. We are dedicated to fostering an inclusive community where athletes of all abilities and neurodiverse backgrounds truly belong. Our mission is to build trust through a safe, welcoming environment; create meaningful connections through intentional activities and relationships; and empower individuals to achieve their fullest potential—physically, socially, and as leaders.
With highly trained coaches experienced in fitness and special education, we tailor our approach to each athlete’s unique needs, focusing on effective communication, personalized learning styles, and adaptive strategies. We believe every athlete is capable of breaking barriers, celebrating strengths, and realizing limitless possibilities.
Through fitness and community, we aim to enhance independence, improve quality of life, increase functional abilities, and foster connection, while reducing chronic illness and promoting mental well-being. Together, we transform lives and inspire a future without limits.

Why ABL Fitness?
Breaking Barriers, Building Opportunities!
At ABL Fitness, we believe fitness should be for everyone—no exceptions! But for individuals with disabilities, finding the right environment can be tough. Here’s where we step in:
Fitness Environment Challenges – and How We Solve Them!
-
Many individuals with disabilities need supervision, transportation, structure, and support to fully enjoy fitness—and we provide all of that and more!
-
Typical gyms can feel overwhelming or unwelcoming. ABL Fitness creates a space where every athlete is seen, supported, and celebrated.
- There’s a shortage of trained professionals ready to coach adaptive athletes. That’s why our coaches specialize in inclusive, individualized training!
- One-size-fits-all classes don’t work. Our programs are tailored to fit every ability level—challenging when it should be, supportive when it needs to be.
- Peer mentorship is a huge part of what we do—building social connections and lifelong friendships!
Financial Barriers – and How We Make a Difference!
- Adaptive fitness typically costs 2-4 times more than regular gym memberships due to additional staffing and supports.
- This creates an unfair "Disability Tax," making access to fitness harder for those who need it most.
- Funding options like DDS, MassHealth, and SSA are limited—and strict income rules make it tough for individuals to afford adaptive programs.
- At ABL Fitness, we're committed to making fitness accessible, affordable, and available—because health, happiness, and belonging should never come at a premium.
At ABL Fitness, we're not just offering workouts—we're offering a community where every athlete can aim beyond limits!
We have the training and expertise to tackle the fitness obstacles.
We are seeking help to tackle the financial obstacles.
Specifically, we would like to secure funding so that we can offer our services to individuals with disabilities for the same price as individuals without disabilities.
