The Financial Challenge

Adaptive fitness typically costs 2-4 times more than regular gym memberships due to additional staffing and supports, creating an unfair “Disability Tax.” Limited funding options (like DDS, MassHealth, and SSA) and strict income rules make it tough for individuals to afford these essential programs.

At ABL Fitness, we’re committed to making fitness accessible, affordable, and available. We have the training to tackle the fitness obstacles but need your help to tackle the financial obstacles. Your partnership allows us to offer our services to individuals with disabilities for the same price as those without.

Why ABL Fitness?

Breaking Barriers, Building Opportunities!

At ABL Fitness, we believe fitness should be for everyone—no exceptions! But for individuals with disabilities, finding the right environment can be tough. Here’s where we step in:

Comprehensive Support

Many individuals with disabilities need supervision, structure, and support to fully enjoy fitness — and we provide all that and more!

Inclusive Environment

Typical gyms can feel overwhelming or unwelcoming. At ABL Fitness, every athlete is seen, supported, and celebrated.

Specialized Coaching

There’s a shortage of trained professionals ready to coach adaptive athletes, which is why our coaches specialize in inclusive, individualized training.

Individualized Programs

One-size-fits-all classes don’t work. Our programs are tailored to every ability level — challenging when it should be, supportive when it needs to be.

Peer Mentorship

Peer mentorship is a cornerstone of what we do, helping athletes build social connections and lifelong friendships.
