Inclusive Powerlifting
Athletes ages 14 and older who qualify for Special Olympics can train and compete in powerlifting through our inclusive strength training program. Athletes may participate in one or all three powerlifting events—the squat, bench press, and deadlift—while following a personalized training plan designed to improve strength, technique, confidence, and performance.
Supported by experienced coaches and a welcoming community, athletes develop physical strength, independence, leadership, and lifelong fitness skills. This inclusive powerlifting program brings athletes of all abilities together to build confidence, friendships, and a strong sense of accomplishment both on and off the platform.
