With over 20 years of experience in physical therapy and adaptive fitness, Karen founded ABL Fitness to create an inclusive community for athletes of all abilities.

Jeffrey Factor

Jeff Factor is a Senior Vice President , Senior Portfolio Management Director at Morgan Stanley, where he has worked since 1996. 
Jeff leads the team’s financial planning efforts and believes that each client should have a customized plan designed specifically for their needs and objectives. 
Jeff is currently a member of Master’s Club. He has been named a Five Star Wealth Advisor by Boston Magazine from 2016-2022, and 2024. Jeff is a graduate of Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts where he earned a bachelor of arts degree.

Kathleen Sousa

Kathleen Sousa (DNP, RN, MSM, HCA) serves as ABL’s Medical Director. She has more than 30 years of experience leading clinical operations, quality improvement, and strategic healthcare initiatives. She is passionate about evidence-based practice, mentoring emerging healthcare leaders, and fostering innovation that enhances patient outcomes and organizational performance. Her work is guided by a dedication to service, life-long learning, and improving the health and well-being of the communities she serves.

Charles Rourke II

Mr. Rourke’s practice includes construction litigation, premises liability, complex business disputes, property loss, and other general areas of civil litigation. Prior to law school, Mr. Rourke worked at an investment bank in Boston, Massachusetts and was a congressional aide to a local congressman.

Tom has spent over 20 years driving visionary change in Information Technology teams transitioning them from technical resources to strategic business partners who align technology with meaningful business outcomes. His background includes startup, midsize, and large enterprise companies, as well as experience with mergers and acquisition.

Trey DePalma

Trey DePalma is a student at MassBay Community College with a strong passion for supporting individuals with disabilities. For the past six years, he has served as an Assistant Coach for the Unified Basketball and Unified Track programs at Newton South High School, where he helps athletes develop their skills, confidence, and teamwork. Trey is also an active participant in Newton Athletes Unlimited sports programs. In his free time, he enjoys working out and spending time with family and friends.

Henry Littlejohn

Henry Littlejohn is an autistic non-speaking adult who communicates by typing and is a dedicated athlete and advocate for inclusion. He was the inspiration for the Wings for Autism program, which has grown into a nationally recognized initiative serving more than 70 airports across the United States. Henry enjoys traveling, attending church and lifelong learning, and hopes to one day attend college. As a member of the Board of Directors, Henry is passionate about promoting adaptive fitness and creating opportunities for people of all abilities to thrive.

Lauren serves as the Chief Financial Officer of ABL Fitness, bringing both professional expertise and a deep personal connection to the organization. As a parent of two athletes who participate in ABL classes, Lauren has a firsthand understanding of the program’s impact and is passionate about supporting its mission.

Ryan serves as Treasurer for ABL Fitness, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to making fitness accessible for individuals of all abilities. He oversees financial operations, budgeting, and fund allocation to ensure programs are sustainably funded and mission-aligned.
